Listening Bodies spend several days staying at the Casa Lü Artist Residency at the end of their Mexican Tour. Casa Lü is an old house, studio and huge garden in the Tlalpan neighborhood of southern Mexico City.
In addition to creating a few artistic dance films, field recording and spending time with the lovely dogs that live their we taught a day-long workshop.
We had a nice group of women who from the dance and yoga fields. We explored some soundwalking, inner-ear explorations, movement scores, closed eyes partner walking, Deep Listening and meditation.
We were very happy to conduct this workshop outside and use the beatiful gardens of Casa Lü for our exploration and connection with the artists community of Mexico City.
